COIMBATORE: Power supply will be suspended in areas under the Ukkadam and Madukkarai substations in Coimbatore on Saturday, June 6, to facilitate monthly maintenance work. The power outage will last from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Areas Affected Under Ukkadam Substation
The following localities will experience no electricity during this period: Variety Hall Road, Town Hall, Oppanakara Street, TK Market, Selvapuram, Kempatti Colony, Karumbukadai, Athupalam, Ukkadam, Sungam bypass road, Shanmuga Nagar, Alwin Nagar, Indira Nagar, Pari Nagar, Dr Munisamy Nagar and surrounding areas. Additionally, State Bank Road, Collector Office, Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, Railway Station, and Lorry Pettai will also be without power.
Areas Affected Under Madukkarai Substation
Under the Madukkarai substation, power will be cut in Arivoli Nagar, Serapalayam, Madukkarai, Palathurai, and A.G.Pathy.
