The Indian Railways is set to introduce a new weekly train service connecting Raxaul in Bihar to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, commencing this Monday. The announcement was made by Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of the East Central Railway (ECR).
Train Schedule and Route
According to the CPRO, the train will depart from Tirupati every Monday at 8:15 AM, arriving at Raxaul on Wednesday at 5:00 PM. For the return journey, it will leave Raxaul every Thursday at 3:15 AM and reach Tirupati on Saturday at 9:30 AM. This weekly service aims to enhance connectivity between the two regions.
Coach Composition
The train will have a 24-coach composition, which includes three AC 2-tier coaches, five AC 3-tier coaches, ten sleeper class coaches, four general coaches, and two brake vans. This diverse arrangement is designed to cater to passengers across different budget segments.
Felicitation of Retiring Employees
In a separate event, Danapur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Vinod Kumar honored 22 railway employees who superannuated on May 31. The employees were felicitated with shawls and mementoes as a token of appreciation for their years of service. Sources confirmed the ceremony took place recently.
