Airport Director Rupesh Kumar confirmed the incident, attributing the delay solely to monsoon weather that created hurdles for the flight's landing approach. "Flight IC3412 from Bengaluru to Hubballi was scheduled to land here at 8:15 PM, but it landed by 9:42 PM. Except for bad weather, no other hurdle was witnessed," Kumar stated emphatically.
Sources within Fly91 airline corroborated this assessment, indicating that adverse weather conditions were the exclusive reason for holding the flight in a holding pattern above the destination airport. The airline maintained that all standard safety protocols were followed throughout the extended airborne period.
