The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to commence an e-auction for 149 residential plots located in Gomti Nagar Extension and Basant Kunj Yojana starting Thursday. This initiative is part of a larger sale involving 475 properties valued at nearly Rs 3,000 crore across the city.
Auction Details and Participation
Officials have announced that the online auction portal will remain open until May 28. Interested buyers can participate by depositing 10% of the reserved price as earnest money. The residential plots available in this auction range in size from 25 square metres to 300 square metres.
Plots in Gomti Nagar Extension
Among the residential plots, 12 are situated on land recently reclaimed from encroachment in Sector 6 of Gomti Nagar Extension. These plots measure between 112 square metres and 225 square metres, with a reserve price of Rs 36,000 per square metre. The base prices for these plots range from approximately Rs 40 lakh to Rs 82 lakh.
Plots in Basant Kunj Yojana
The remaining 137 plots are located in Basant Kunj Sector H, Sector I, and Gau Ghat. The smallest plot, measuring 25 square metres, is priced at around Rs 8.5 lakh, while the largest plot of 300 square metres carries a reserve price of nearly Rs 1 crore.
Additional Offerings
In addition to residential plots, the LDA has also put up group housing plots for sale near the Rifa-e-Aam Club on Jagat Narayan Road and in Sector 7 of Gomti Nagar Extension.
Prathamesh Kumar, Vice-Chairperson of LDA, stated that the authority aims to make premium residential properties available in well-developed localities through a transparent process. This e-auction is expected to provide ample opportunities for homebuyers and investors alike.
