YEIDA Advances Industrial Growth with Major Land Allotments in Noida Region

In a significant boost to industrial development in Uttar Pradesh, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) issued allotment letters to three prominent companies on Tuesday. The ceremony, held in Lucknow, was presided over by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who formally handed over the documents, marking a pivotal step in attracting substantial investments to the region.

Substantial Investments and Employment Opportunities Unveiled

Collectively, these projects are projected to draw over Rs 3,000 crore in investment and create more than 5,000 new jobs, reinforcing the area's status as an emerging economic powerhouse. YEIDA Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia provided detailed insights into each allocation, highlighting the diverse industrial focus of the incoming firms.

Detailed Breakdown of the Three Major Projects

Escorts Kubota Limited has been granted 154 acres of land in Sector 10. The company plans to establish a comprehensive manufacturing facility dedicated to tractors and construction equipment. This project involves an investment of around Rs 1,219 crore and is expected to provide jobs for about 1,200 people, further solidifying the region's role in the agricultural and construction machinery sectors.

Sun Organic Industries Pvt Ltd has been allotted 30,000 square meters in Sector 8D. This firm will set up a specialized unit for processing and packaging dry fruits. With an investment of Rs 225 crore, the project is forecasted to create around 569 jobs, adding diversity to the industrial landscape with a focus on food processing and packaging.

YEIDA's Broader Industrial Development Track Record

YEIDA has demonstrated a consistent commitment to industrial expansion along the Yamuna Expressway. To date, the authority has allotted a total of 3,113 industrial plots. Of these, lease deeds have been executed for 2,363 plots, and possession has been transferred to 1,785 allottees. Building plans have received approval for 716 plots, with 341 units currently under construction.

Furthermore, 60 units have been completed, of which 33 are operational and registered under the Factories Act. This progress underscores YEIDA's effective management and the growing interest from industrial players in establishing operations within its jurisdiction.

Catalytic Impact of Noida International Airport

The upcoming Noida International Airport has emerged as a key catalyst, significantly enhancing investment activity across the Yamuna Authority region. The promise of improved connectivity has transformed the area into a premier industrial hub, attracting keen interest from both domestic and international investors.

This surge in demand is not limited to industrial projects alone; it has also sparked increased activity in residential and commercial developments, positioning the region for comprehensive economic growth and urban development in the coming years.
