VinFast India has officially launched the new VinFast VF MPV 7 electric MPV, marking a significant entry into India's rapidly growing electric vehicle sector. This launch is a key component of VinFast's global expansion strategy, specifically targeting the burgeoning MPV segment in India, which is seeing increased demand for family-friendly and sustainable mobility solutions.
Pricing and Booking Details
The VinFast VF MPV 7 is available in a single top-spec trim, priced at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for this electric MPV have already commenced, with customers able to reserve their vehicle either online or by visiting authorized dealerships across the country. Deliveries are anticipated to begin shortly, positioning the VF MPV 7 to compete directly with other three-row electric models such as the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMax7, and Mahindra XEV 9S.
Comprehensive Warranty and Support Benefits
To enhance its appeal, VinFast is offering an extensive package of benefits with the VF MPV 7. This includes three years of free maintenance, complimentary charging until March 31, 2029, a seven-year vehicle warranty, and a 10-year battery warranty. Additionally, customers can benefit from up to 75% assured buyback value, seven years of free roadside assistance, and special support for transitioning from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric ones.
Exterior and Interior Design Features
The VF MPV 7 boasts a modern exterior with LED headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), turn indicators, 19-inch all-black alloy wheels, black body cladding, a shark-fin antenna, and practical elements like a rear wiper, washer, and defogger. Inside, the cabin is available in all-black or dual-tone black and brown themes, featuring leatherette upholstery, adjustable headrests, a bezel-less interior rearview mirror (IRVM), and a front centre armrest with storage.
Advanced Comfort and Convenience Features
Comfort is prioritized with a height-adjustable and 6-way adjustable driver seat, automatic air conditioning with rear vents, Type A and C charging ports, split-folding seats, 12V charging ports, auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), keyless entry, brake pedal starter, all windows with up/down and anti-pinch functionality, a PM 2.5 air filter, third-row AC controls, cupholders, multiple drive modes, creep mode, and cruise control.

It claims an impressive range of 517 km on a full charge and can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 10 seconds. Charging options include 11 kW AC charging and 80 kW DC fast charging, with the latter capable of charging the battery from 10% to 70% in approximately 30 minutes.
