Tata Motors has officially launched the much-anticipated Tata Punch facelift in the Indian automotive market, marking the first major update since the SUV's original debut. Deliveries for the refreshed model have now commenced across the nation, offering customers an enhanced driving experience with significant design and feature upgrades.
Pricing and Availability Details
The updated Tata Punch is now available for booking through both online platforms and physical visits to Tata Motors dealerships. The pricing for the facelift version starts at Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting a marginal increase of Rs 10,000 compared to the original 2021 entry price of Rs 5.49 lakh. This strategic pricing positions the Punch competitively in the compact SUV segment, balancing affordability with modern enhancements.
Exterior Design Evolution
While the overall silhouette of the Tata Punch remains consistent with its predecessor, the facelift introduces substantial updates to the front and rear profiles. Drawing inspiration from the Punch EV, the front end now features sleek slim DRLs and a clean blacked-out grille that adds a touch of aggression. The bumper is dominated by black cladding, lending the SUV a tougher and more muscular stance, complemented by a functional air intake for improved engine airflow.
New LED headlamps set in crisp, angular housings enhance visibility and style, while a silver skid plate adds a rugged finishing touch. At the sides, the design retains familiarity but now includes newly designed 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear sees a redesigned tailgate and lower bumper, along with new connected LED taillamps that modernize the vehicle's appearance.

Inside the cabin, the Tata Punch facelift maintains a similar layout to the outgoing model but receives thoughtful updates. A new two-spoke steering wheel finished in gloss black with an illuminated logo adds a premium feel, while a touch-based climate control panel, consistent with other Tata models, improves usability.
Key features include a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and touch-based air-conditioning controls with toggles for fan speed and temperature adjustment. Additional amenities comprise a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, a premium sound system, cruise control, and push-button start/stop functionality, elevating the overall comfort and convenience for drivers and passengers.
