Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology and Panchayati Raj, Nara Lokesh, on Saturday pitched the state as a prime investment destination during a meeting with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Kolkata. He highlighted the state's robust infrastructure, skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies as key attractions for investors.
Key Sectors for Investment
Lokesh emphasized sectors such as information technology, electronics manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy as areas with significant growth potential. He noted that the state government has implemented several reforms to ease doing business, including single-window clearance and tax incentives.
Infrastructure Development
The minister also spoke about the development of major infrastructure projects like the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor and the Bhogapuram International Airport, which are expected to boost connectivity and industrial growth. He invited ICC members to explore partnerships and investments in these projects.
Lokesh assured that the Andhra Pradesh government is committed to providing a conducive environment for businesses, with a focus on transparency and efficiency. He urged the business community to take advantage of the state's strategic location and growing economy.
