JSW MG Motor India has officially unveiled the MG Majestor SUV, marking a significant expansion in the automaker's portfolio. This new D+ segment vehicle is strategically positioned to bridge the gap between mainstream D-segment SUVs and luxury offerings, establishing itself as the new flagship model above the MG Gloster in the company's SUV lineup.
MG Majestor: Launch Timeline and Expected Pricing
The pricing for the MG Majestor will be officially announced in April 2026, with the vehicle expected to carry an ex-showroom price tag ranging between ₹39 lakh and ₹45 lakh. This positions it directly against established rivals like the Toyota Fortuner Legender, which currently retails between ₹42.17 lakh and ₹47.46 lakh (ex-showroom). Another key competitor, the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, has yet to have its India pricing revealed, adding to the competitive dynamics in this segment.
Booking Details and Exclusive Benefits for Early Customers
Pre-bookings for the MG Majestor are now open across India at an initial token amount of ₹41,000. Interested customers can secure their booking through authorized dealerships or via dedicated online channels. MG has introduced several attractive incentives for early adopters:
- First 3,000 Bookings: These customers will receive the exclusive '5-5-5 Peace of Mind' package, which includes five years of unlimited kilometer warranty, five years of roadside assistance, and five labour-free services.
- First 1,000 Bookings: In addition to the above package, these customers will get an exclusive invitation for the ICICI Emeralde credit card.
- All Pre-bookings: Every customer who pre-books will enjoy priority delivery and access to an exclusive preview event before the official launch.
Deliveries of the MG Majestor are scheduled to commence from May 2026, with pre-booked customers receiving priority in the delivery queue.
