Thiruvananthapuram: In a significant development for the city's commercial infrastructure, General Education and Labour Minister V Sivankutty inaugurated a modern warehouse complex near Chalai market on Friday. Located along the Killipalam-Attakulangara bypass, it is designed to streamline goods movement and reduce traffic congestion in the crowded Chalai area, one of the city's oldest and busiest commercial hubs.
The project was completed within the stipulated timeframe, attributed to the government's strong commitment and careful planning. It represents a significant milestone in the development of Chalai, addressing a long-standing demand from traders for a publicly owned warehouse near the market.
