Heritage Foods Limited has officially opened its new greenfield ice cream manufacturing plant at Shamirpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad. This strategic move represents a significant expansion into the rapidly growing value-added dairy segment, positioning the company for substantial future growth.

The newly commissioned facility boasts an impressive installed production capacity of approximately 24 million litres per annum. Heritage Foods' ice cream business currently generates annual revenues of around ₹100 crore. With the operational launch of this new manufacturing hub, the company has set ambitious growth targets. Management expects to strengthen its operational capabilities to scale the ice cream category up to five times its current size over the next seven to eight years. This expansion strategy is focused on deepening market penetration across key regions in South and Western India.
