Easing tensions in West Asia have revitalized the primary market, with three mainboard initial public offerings (IPOs) set to open next week. Waterways Leisure Tourism, Advit Jewels, and CSM Technologies will launch their maiden public issues over the next few days, while packaging solutions provider Knack Packaging is expected to announce its price band soon.
Three IPOs to Open Next Week
According to a report by PTI, the three companies are tapping the market amid improved investor sentiment following a de-escalation of geopolitical risks in West Asia. Waterways Leisure Tourism, Advit Jewels, and CSM Technologies have all received regulatory approvals and are set to open their IPOs for subscription.
Waterways Leisure Tourism, a company specializing in leisure and tourism services, aims to raise funds for expansion and working capital requirements. Advit Jewels, a jewelry manufacturer and retailer, plans to use the proceeds for business growth and debt repayment. CSM Technologies, an IT solutions provider, intends to finance research and development and market expansion.
Knack Packaging to Announce Price Band
Packaging solutions provider Knack Packaging is expected to announce its price band for its upcoming IPO in the coming days. The company has filed its draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India and is awaiting final approvals. The IPO is likely to include a fresh issue of shares and an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Market Sentiment Improves
The flurry of IPO activity comes as easing tensions in West Asia have boosted investor confidence. Analysts believe that the resolution of geopolitical conflicts has reduced uncertainty, leading to increased risk appetite among institutional and retail investors. The primary market had witnessed a slowdown earlier this year due to global macroeconomic headwinds and regional instability.
According to market experts, the upcoming IPOs are expected to attract strong interest given the favorable market conditions. The benchmark indices have remained stable, and liquidity remains ample, providing a conducive environment for new listings.
