Cmde Girideep Singh's association with HSL began earlier when he assumed the role of director (Strategic Projects) on March 5, 2022. - Successful completion of major refit projects, including the Normal Refit of INS Sidhukirti and SSP
- Significant progress on key strategic programmes such as DSV (Diving Support Vessel) and FSS (Fleet Support Ships)
- HSL emerging as L1 (lowest bidder) for the prestigious contract of 18 Next Generation Fast Patrol Vessels (NGFPVs) for the Indian Coast Guard, valued at approximately Rs 3,000 crore

Capt Venkateswarlu brings substantial experience to his new role, having served as Director (Shipbuilding) at HSL since November 29, 2024. His journey with the organization began in May 2018 when he joined as additional general manager, demonstrating a steady progression through the ranks.

- International Exposure: Completed an overseas assignment during his naval career, providing him with valuable global perspective
