NCC Maharashtra PMIS Initiative for Cadet Employability

The NCC Maharashtra directorate has introduced a comprehensive employability initiative under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS), designed to connect NCC cadets and ex-cadets with industry opportunities, professional training, and future-ready skills.

Phase One: Placement Camps in Pune and Mumbai

As part of the first phase, special placement camps will be organized in Pune and Mumbai, offering a total of 150 internship opportunities to eligible graduates from across Maharashtra. The Pune camp, scheduled for June 15, will provide 50 internship positions, while the Mumbai camp on June 16 will offer 100 opportunities.

Eligibility and Objectives

This initiative is open to NCC Senior Division and Senior Wing cadets, as well as ex-cadets. It aims to bridge the gap between education and employment through structured workplace exposure and industry engagement. According to NCC Maharashtra directorate officials, selected candidates will gain practical experience in areas such as human resources, sales, front office operations, finance, food and beverage services, and purchase and stores management.
