OJEE 2026 Results: 62,691 Secure Ranks, Toppers Announced

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-2026 results were declared on Monday by the state's skill development and technical education (SDTE) department, with nearly 62,000 candidates securing ranks. The OJEE committee conducted the examination for admissions to various professional courses in the state for the 2026-27 academic session.

Key Highlights of OJEE 2026 Results

SDTE minister Sampad Chandra Swain announced that out of 1,03,434 registered candidates, 92,628 appeared for the entrance examination, recording an attendance rate of 89.55%. Among those who appeared, 62,691 candidates (excluding nursing aspirants) have been allotted ranks based on their performance. The results for nursing aspirants will be declared separately by the directorate of medical education and training (DMET).

List of Toppers Across Courses

  • MTech (all specialisations): Swagat Kumar Behura from Sarangadharpur in Nayagarh district emerged as the overall topper.
  • MBA: Tribikram Pradhan of Kendrapara topped the examination.
  • MCA/MSc: Naren Patra from Balasore secured the top rank.
  • BPharm: Subhranshu Sutar from Bhubaneswar topped.
  • LE-Tech (Diploma): Arun Kumar Jena from Keonjhar topped.
  • LE-Tech (BSc): Suraj Kumar Jha from Jajpur topped.
  • Integrated MBA: Shreemayee Panigrahi topped.
  • MPharm: Shyamsundar Behera topped.
  • BArch: Sai Arya Anushka Nayak topped.
  • BCAT (cinematography, sound recording and sound design): Dev Mandal topped.

Courses Covered Under OJEE 2026

The entrance examination was conducted for admission to a wide range of technical and professional courses offered by government and private institutions across Odisha. These include BCAT, BPharm, MBA, MCA, Integrated MBA, MPharm, MArch, MPlan, MTech (with 11 specialisations), and nursing programmes.

Counselling Process and Important Dates

OJEE committee chairman D P Satpathy informed that candidates who have secured ranks can download their rank cards from the official OJEE website. They will then participate in the counselling process for admission to various government and private colleges and institutions, subject to their rank and other eligibility criteria.

“Counselling will begin after the Raja festival in the third week of June,” Satpathy said. The All India Council for Technical Education has mandated that all admissions be completed by August 14. Satpathy assured that the admission process for all courses would be completed before the deadline.
