A tragic incident came to light on Sunday afternoon when the bodies of a young man and woman were discovered by the roadside in Ratlam district. The deceased, both residents of Piplipada village in Gunawad tehsil of Jhabua district, were identified as Rahjing Pargi (20) and Jyoti Gamad (19).
Discovery of Bodies
Passersby noticed the two individuals lying near Rupakheda Road under Bilpank police station limits and immediately alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, police found both individuals already dead. The bodies were later sent to Ratlam Medical College for postmortem examination.
Investigation Underway
Preliminary investigations suggest that the two were in a relationship and had left their homes a day earlier. Police suspect that they consumed a poisonous substance, leading to their deaths. Bilpank police station in-charge Ayub Khan stated that all aspects of the case are being examined. While initial findings point to suicide, the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the postmortem report is received.
Authorities are also checking for any suicide note or other evidence that may shed light on the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community.
