In a concerted effort to address the concerns of the trading community and bolster coordination between traders and law enforcement, a special meeting was convened in the Jandiala Assembly constituency on Monday. The meeting was organized by Abhishek Bansal, Vice-Chairman of the Punjab State Traders Commission, Amritsar.
Senior Police Officials Attend Meeting
The gathering was attended by Amritsar SSP Kanwalpreet Singh Chahal, along with other senior police officials. They engaged directly with traders, listening attentively to their grievances regarding security and law-and-order issues. The interactive session aimed to foster a collaborative environment for addressing local business concerns.
SSP Chahal's Assurances
SSP Chahal assured the traders that the district police are available round the clock to ensure their safety and provide immediate assistance whenever required. He emphasized the police department's commitment to maintaining a secure environment for business activities. He further stated that traders' grievances would be addressed on a priority basis, with a focus on swift resolution.

Among those present at the meeting were Jandiala DSP Baljit Singh, SHO Harpal Singh, Jandiala trade chairperson Ramesh Awasthi, Sarabjit Singh Dimpy, Gautam Seth, Sunil Pasi, Sunny Kahwa, Jagdeep Singh, and several other prominent traders. Their participation underscored the community's engagement with the initiative.
