BJP MP Kota Srinivas Poojary has strongly criticized Congress leader Priyank Kharge for his recent remarks targeting the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Poojary urged Kharge to shift his focus toward governance and developmental issues rather than attacking the organization.
Defense of RSS
Defending the organization, the BJP MP stated that the RSS functions strictly within the framework of the Constitution of India and has always worked for the welfare of the country. He emphasized that the RSS has played a pivotal role in nation-building and social service.
Call for Constructive Politics
Poojary called upon opposition leaders to engage in constructive politics and prioritize the concerns of the common people. He argued that targeting organizations like RSS diverts attention from pressing issues such as unemployment, inflation, and infrastructure development.
The MP further noted that the RSS has been at the forefront of various humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief and education initiatives. He urged political leaders to respect all organizations that contribute positively to society.
This exchange highlights the ongoing political tension between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress, with both sides trading barbs over ideological differences. Poojary's remarks come amid a broader debate on the role of the RSS in Indian democracy.
