Anti-Encroachment Drive at Khatushyamji to Widen Devotee Exit Route
Khatushyamji Drive: Encroachments Removed for Devotee Route

The Jhunjhunu administration on Tuesday carried out an anti-encroachment drive to widen the darshan exit route at Khatushyamji in the religious town of Sikar, citing inconvenience faced by devotees of Baba Shyam. With the help of three JCB machines, permanent encroachments were removed from Guwad Chowk to the Shyam temple exit route at Khatushyamji. The action aimed to ensure a 30-feet-wide road for smoother movement of devotees.

Heavy Security Deployment

A heavy deployment of municipal administration, revenue department, and police personnel was present at the spot. As the action began, a crowd of villagers and Shyam devotees gathered there, and police personnel kept people away from the action site for safety reasons.

Officials Overseeing the Drive

The operation was led by SDM Monika Samor and Municipality EO Omprakash Chaudhary. Under the leadership of Khatushyamji Station Officer Pawan Choube, a contingent of police from Khatushyamji Kotwali, Sadar, Jeenmata, and Dantaramgarh police stations was deployed to maintain order.
