Final Happy Streets Event at JP Nagar Promises Creativity and Fun
Final Happy Streets at JP Nagar: Creativity and Fun

Bengaluru: As Sunday marks the final Happy Streets event at JP Nagar, the street specials are set to go out on a high note. The Times of India’s initiative wraps up its JP Nagar chapter with a mix of creativity, civic engagement and hands-on activities, offering residents one last opportunity to step out and participate.

Civic Engagement and Nostalgia

Reclaim Constitution will be on ground with printed copies of the Preamble, encouraging passersby to reconnect with the values that form the foundation of Indian democracy. Adding a nostalgic touch, Postcrossing Welfare Society of India (PSOI) will set up a philately stall celebrating stamps and postcard writing. As Col. Akhil Kumar (retd), president of PSOI, notes, such hobbies give younger generations a “mindful, screen-free” way to engage with history, art and cultures across the world — with each postcard serving as a personal keepsake and a small ambassador of Indian heritage.

Art and Fitness Activities

The art zone promises something for all age groups. Prashree Art will conduct calming mandala sessions, while Art Attic will host interactive workshops for children and adults, including keychain making, bookmark designing and self-portrait sketching — activities that blend playfulness with personal expression. Adding a fitness angle to the morning, M3 Fitness Gym will bring accessible workout equipment to the street, making fitness more approachable in a relaxed, open setting.
