Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry have built a remarkably strong bond over nearly two decades of marriage. Despite facing constant mockery online, the Golden State Warriors star recently opened up about what keeps their relationship thriving.
Facing Tension Together
Appearing on the IMO podcast hosted by former First Lady Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, the four-time NBA champion shared his philosophy. 'We don't run away from the tension on the daily,' Curry said. 'I heard somebody say like, neither one of us can quit on the same day, as a philosophy of understanding. I subscribe to that philosophy.'
He elaborated, 'We try not to run away from it, you run towards it because you know that that's going to help you get to that next level of togetherness, or just the seasons of life that kind of come at you.'
Partners in Life and Business
Beyond their personal relationship, the Currys run several successful businesses together. They are also committed to philanthropy through their foundation, Eat. Learn. Play., which focuses on giving back to the community.
Despite ongoing trolling, particularly after Ayesha's comments about their relationship, the couple remains focused on their four children and supporting each other. Stephen has often publicly defended his wife, emphasizing their desire to keep their lives out of the spotlight.
The Currys' approach to marriage—embracing challenges and refusing to give up on the same day—serves as a powerful example of resilience and partnership.
