Tom Brady has launched a new coconut water brand called Good Nut, and the internet has not recovered. The seven-time Super Bowl champion dropped Good Nut today in partnership with Gopuff. The product is organic, contains no added sugar, and is sourced from Vietnamese coconuts. It comes in three flavors: original, chocolate, and sparkling. The chocolate flavor is the hero product.
How the Brand Came to Be
Gopuff's head of marketing, Tyler Stewart, revealed that the idea started when Brady casually mentioned he loves drinking chocolate coconut water. What began as a personal fridge staple has now become a certified business venture. Stewart noted, "Blending premium products with brands that are playful, unexpected, and don't take themselves too seriously has become a huge part of how we build together with Tom."
Internet Reactions
The name Good Nut sparked widespread reactions online. One user wrote, "Of all the names Tom Brady could've chosen, Good Nut definitely wasn't on my bingo card." Another declared, "I speak for everyone — we will NOT be drinking nut water." A third user posted a POV of "drinking Brady's good ass nut," which quickly went viral. Some fans admitted they would still buy a case because "Brady's usually ahead on the health stuff." One user remained focused on taste, asking how it compares to other coconut waters.
Brady's Beverage Empire
Good Nut is exclusively available on Gopuff at $3.29 per can, or $2.96 for FAM members. The global coconut water market is projected to reach $11 billion by 2030, and Gopuff reports its own coconut water sales jumped 115% year-over-year. Brady is entering a booming market, and whether consumers are willing to ask for "Tom Brady's Good Nut" remains a personal decision.
This is not Brady's first venture into playful branding. He has previously collaborated with Gopuff on GOAT Gummies and a "Super Monday Off" campaign. The naming decision was intentional, aiming for a product that doesn't take itself too seriously.
