RSSB Confirms Forester and LDC Exam Dates Unchanged, Clarifies on Lab Assistant and Teacher Recruitment
RSSB: Forester, LDC Exams on Schedule; Lab Assistant Key in June

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has confirmed that there is no change in the scheduled dates of the Forester and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) examinations. The clarification was issued by RSSB Chairman Maj Gen Alok Raj in response to a query raised by a candidate regarding the possibility of postponement.

The update comes amid continued discussions among aspirants about recruitment examinations and result timelines. Addressing concerns on social media, Alok Raj stated that the dates announced for the Forester and LDC examinations will remain unchanged and candidates should prepare according to the existing schedule.

Forester and LDC examinations to proceed as planned

Responding to a candidate who referred to a perceived trend of examination dates being revised after initial announcements, the RSSB Chairman rejected the suggestion that such changes were routine. He stated that there would be no change in the dates of the Forester and LDC examinations.

Alok Raj also noted that the board has conducted around 150 examinations during the past two-and-a-half years. According to him, examination dates were altered only on a limited number of occasions during that period.

Update shared on Lab Assistant examination process

The RSSB Chairman also provided an update on the Lab Assistant recruitment examination. He said that provisional answer keys are planned for release in the third week of June. He added that the declaration of results would depend on the number of objections received against the provisional key.

The statement was issued in response to a candidate seeking information about the answer key and expected result schedule for the examination.

Clarification on Level 1 eligibility criteria

In another response, Alok Raj clarified eligibility conditions related to the Third Grade Teacher Level 1 recruitment process. He stated that there is no provision requiring 40 per cent minimum marks for Level 1 General Education candidates.

According to the clarification, candidates securing more than 40 per cent marks will be eligible for both the Education Department and the Sanskrit Education Department. Those scoring below that threshold will remain eligible only for the Education Department.

Other recruitment examination updates

The RSSB Chairman further stated that there is currently no change in the date of the Physical Training Instructor (PTI) examination, which is scheduled for September 13. He added that the application process for the recruitment will begin shortly.

On Common Eligibility Test (CET) examinations, he indicated that CET (Senior Secondary) is planned for the last week of October, while CET (Graduation) is planned for the first week of December. Both examinations are currently in the planning stage and will be confirmed after finalisation.
