The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has officially announced the examination timetable for the Company Secretary (CS) Executive and Professional sessions scheduled for December 2026. Candidates preparing for these examinations can now access the detailed subject-wise schedule on the institute's official website, icsi.edu.
Examination Dates and Mode
According to the released schedule, both the CS Executive and CS Professional examinations will be conducted in offline mode from December 21 to December 28, 2026. All examination papers will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM each day.
CS Executive Examination Timetable
The CS Executive examination will commence on December 21 with the paper on Jurisprudence, Interpretation and General Laws. Subsequent papers include Capital Market and Securities Laws, Company Law and Practice, Economic, Commercial and Intellectual Property Laws, Setting Up of Business, Industrial and Labour Laws, Tax Laws and Practice, and Corporate Accounting and Financial Management.
CS Professional Examination Timetable
The CS Professional examination will also begin on December 21 with the paper on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) – Principles and Practice. The remaining papers comprise Strategic Management and Corporate Finance, Drafting, Pleadings and Appearances, Corporate Restructuring, Valuation and Insolvency, and Compliance Management, Audit and Due Diligence.
ICSI has additionally scheduled two open-book elective papers for CS Professional candidates. Elective 2 will be conducted on December 27, while Elective 1 is scheduled for December 28. Candidates can choose from subjects notified by the institute for these elective papers.
